Skansen maintains the position that every business has a moral duty to create returns for not only its shareholders, directors and employees but also its stakeholders. This includes its communities, whether local, national or global. There is also a duty on a company to maximise its profits in order to have greater resources at its disposal for its CSR programmes. Profit and CSR are not mutually exclusive but are inter-dependant.
Skansen commits 10% of its profits to the Skansen Foundation.
