Our extensive experience in the fit out market ranges from the complexities of working within listed buildings to the logistical challenges of operating in multi-floored occupied premises. Regardless of the size of the project, our ambition and approach is the same. We tailor our solutions to reflect the unique requirements of the client and their project. To date, the challenges met by Skansen include major phased works in a live international banking environment, delivery of 130,000sq.ft office accommodation within a 16 week period and the installation of a modern dealing hall within a Grade II listed building.

When working in occupied buildings, Skansen strive to be invisible and silent to the Client and their neighbours, minimising any possible disruption to their day to day operations and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment at all times. We regard our onsite performance and the relationship we develop with building managers, landlords and occupiers as setting the foundations for our Clients’ future relationships with their neighbours. This is the cornerstone of our approach and is integral to Skansen’s policy of providing high service levels to all aspects of a project, whether in terms of the quality of finished product, tenant comfort, communication, health and safety, site cleanliness or sustainability.
